Hi Guys,

Have I gone mad but is this a rule of thumb?

Change Length = Change in Volume/3

Length^3 = Volume

Volume Expansion = Volume + Volume Change

Length Expansion = Length + Length Change

Assume a block

And the volume change is % absorption.

I jotted this down on an old spec years ago….and find it now and I’m not certain of my logic.
