Greetings,
I have a detail that I need to place 2 holes into it. I would like to use features from the assembly where this detail is installed. Is this possible to do this?
Thanks,
Brent
Cowski,
Thank you for showing how to do it. I do realize this is a bad practice, we just had a unique situation that warranted this option.
Thanks again,
Brent
Oh, actually, I see now. You go to where you placed the Detail View. I'd much rather it be from where you select the 1st region so that you know what size you actually need. Quirky, but I'll get it. Thanks for the response.
Greetings,
2-Fold question on Detail View
1- After I've created a Detail View, I added a component outside its boundaries and need to enlarge it
* I do not see an option to allow the size to change
2- One of the Detail Views, I prefer it be rectangle. I see the rectangle...
Ok, got it. It was an old file, so not exactly through the center could have been the issue. I replaced the entire section and 3-D Centerline worked fine.
Thank you for the reply,
Brent
Greetings:
I am drafting a part, and created a section view to expose specific holes that I want to describe from within the section. When I select 3-D Centerline, the holes are not recognized to place the centerline. Am I doing something incorrect?
Thanks,
Brent
Ok, thank you SDETERS. It does make sense. Sure would be nice to simply be able to select any Arrangement that has been created. Anyway, thanks again, I'll give that approach a shot.
I meant to type, I am now interested.. not ... not. Anyway, if someone could lend a helping hand on the subject above, that would be fantastic.
Thanks,
Brent
