The reason for the suspension of the floating roof tanks from the service because the plant is completely suspended for long time 6 years. Before the shutdown there were no problems with the storage tanks.

How can we check the availability (ready for start-up) of floating roof tanks which suspended (out of service) for long periods of time. is there any test or procedure for this? thanks

yes the quantity is large (about 405 drums), and the storage condition not bad. the sample test is free because it is done in our company. thank you everybody

we take a sample from the drum, and we find that the properties in the range. it has not been tested yet. but we don't sure that it will be in the range in the operation.

in our company we have a large amount of lube oil which is expired on 10/2015. can we use this oil? thank you
