Hi all, I am interested in heat transfer and fluid flow simulation of an Additive process, is that possible in ansys? I am interested in melt pool and temperature analysis of the part. If this is possible in Ansys , where should I start from ,if not what are other softwares can be used ? Thanks

Is there any way to directly assigning the material property to each element in ansys workbench itself ?

It is a solid 3D body which I have created , after that I have generated mesh onto the solid body. Now I want to assign a different material property to each element which has been generated in that instead of giving whole body as one material.

If they are very less number of elements , can we assign the different material property to each element?

I have to input the zeros in the matrix .

The matrix we get , is a sparse matrix . It is too long to do it in the excel .
