    In Texas the ultimate liability for the design lies with the firm. If an EOR leaves the firm and changes are made to the plans the original engineer's seal must be removed and a new EOR employed by the firm must seal and take responsible charge for anything on the sheet, not just the changes.

    If you are doing pure detention, and not retention, or wet detention, then your depths will either be determined by local criteria or by what your outlet elevation can be.

    For oonly 775 I would flush that 6" line to get it as clean as possible and push a smaller line into it. EssentiallyuUse the 6" as a casing pipe. Then if you ever need a larger force main you could just pull the smaller pipe.

    I'm not sure about what ASFPM's requirements are, in Texas the Texas Floodplain Management Association requires 8 hours of continuing ed annually. Other certifying entities are probably similar. I have to get 15 hours per year for my PE so I try to find courses that will apply to both.
