I am modelling a rolling simulation. The roller is an analytic rigid body and the workpiece is deformable with C3D8R elements.
The contact is Surface-to-Surface contact (Explicit). I cannot figure out how to prevent the workpiece from penetrating the analytic rigid.

Did you try reassigning the Sections to the parts after you partitioned them? Partitioning allows to assign different sections to the same part... it might have impacted your original Section Assignment.
