I need to quickly determine the line impedance for several different designs. can anyone direct me to or provide a calculation tool (i.e. Mcad, Xcel etc.)THX?
The issue is that the ouput of the inverter provides only L1,L2,L3, rather than the more conventional L1,L2,L3,N. They are bonding the frame to earth and then trying to call that the neutral. This is driven by a PV array.
We are seeing 3W inverters desiring interconnections to the solidly grounded power system from PV systems. There is an issue as to how does this type of a 3W system perform a phase-neutral voltage protection measurement as required in the 1547 standards etc. There is a desire of the...
Looking for information concerning the phase positions of each circuit on a double circuit tower line. My concern is the placing of other than 1,2,3 top to bottom on each side of the pole. Flash over of other than opposing phases can cause a "cross country" fault. Any experience out...
One advantage is that if the transformers are on a transmission line that has local breakers, such that a fault on the transmission line would remove one of the transformers from service, the others running in parallel would carry the load. This involves the use of a load side breaker on the LV...
