I am having some problems with assigning initial conditions to particular sets in my model. I have two parts in the model, one was a 'mesh-part' created from the original part, so they are both essentially the same part, I think..? What I need to know is, what is the difference in creating sets...

Thanks for the response. The thing is im not sure how to actually assign the section to the parts? When I create the section I dont ever get any option on assigning it to the part and I havnt been able to find it when I try to edit the section either?
