I am using an axisymmetric model and I had to create a 'mesh-part' in order to add springs between the nodes of my model. So I have two separate parts in my model now.
My main problem is that I dont want two separte parts, I just want one part with the springs between the nodes, but it wont let me do this without creating the second part (the 'mesh-part').
So I am trying to tie the two parts together to act as one but I am having great difficulty doing this. Is it possible to tie a mesh-part to a standard part? Precisely what type of constraint should I be using? What contact interaction properties should I use?
I would much prefer to use just one part but I cant figuree out how to do that either?
