    SnTMan and Jano6924, Thank you so much for the reply. Greatly appreciated. So meaning, according to UG 34, we can weld the flat cover onto the vessel. But we can we use appendix 2 flange with bolted covers? Are bolted covers accepted as part of the code? Regards.
