I checked and have both of those things in as exceptions in the Firewall on the server machine. The server machine is XP and the client is Vista if that provides any clues. I know that if I disable the firewall and the server I can obtain the license without any problem but prefer not to run...
What do I need to set in windows firewall to allow the lic. server to work. Currently I shutdown the firewall on the server and all works, if I enable the firewall it doesn't. Thus I must need to add an exception or port to the allow list but can't find out what this is.
Thanks for any responses.
What tasks need to be added to the exception list to allow the license manager to work over the network ? If I shut the firewall off all works, yet if I enable it it doesn't.
Thanks in advance

We are in the process of purchasing a company that is using ProE (wildfire 2.0) and we want to be able to convert the assemblies/parts to Solidworks.

Dimensioning slots on drawings:
1) My sheetmetal vendors like dimensions to the center of the slot, and the width and length (what you'd measure by putting a caliper on the punch). SW dimensions the distance between the centers of the two half-circles. That's useful to me, but not the...
Is there a prefered/standard way to insert "slots" in a sheetmetal panel (aside from creating 2 holes and a cut between them).
