How many times have you changed Jobs?

Was thinking of putting this all into a spreadsheet and seeing how it looked, but swertel knew I was curious... [thumbsup2] Robert

Protected Sheets - Viewing Cells that have been Unlocked

I do the same as Denial, with the addition of setting up a print area, header/footer and specifying a default black and white print in the page setup dialog ahead of time. I then typically set the file attributes to Read-Only so that the master copy does not get mutilated by accident.

Copy map from Mapquest or Yahoo.com

I would probably 'alt'-'Print Screen' the window into the clipboard, paste it into Windows Paint, then rectangle around the portion of the map that I want and copy it into a new Paint file. I'd then save it as a jpeg image and insert that into the ACAD file. There may be better ways to do it.

    Cube Farm Chatter

I work in a cube with a U-shaped desk where the monitors are in the corner away from the "door" such that I have my back to anyone passing by. I use earbuds to create a nice, peaceful world for myself and have trained all of my coworkers to tap the end of my desk nearest the "door" to get my...

    American V8's - Curious

You know, I seem to recall replacing the non-symmetric fan on my '70 Nova with a symmetric flex fan that had more blades (and yes, I cut my knuckles many times afterwards). And I recall that the new fan was very loud, though at the time I figured it was because of the greater number of blades...

    V20 changes

I'm also hoping to see some speed increases with the GUI. Nothing is more frustrating than having your system freeze for a while while it processes your mouse click, only to realize that you selected the wrong part, surface, node, etc. or that you really didn't need to go back into the meshing...

    I guess I'm getting old.

It seems that there are lots of others who complain about flip flops: http://today.reuters.com/news/newsarticle.aspx?type=oddlyEnoughNews&storyid=2006-06-29T174048Z_01_N21256287_RTRUKOC_0_US-LIFE-FLIPFLOPS1.xml&src=rss ROB

Importing AutoCAD drawings into MS Word

Other than printing, scanning and inserting, I've found that I get the best results by picking the items, copying them into MSPaint and saving them as a .gif, then inserting them into Word. And because I use a black background in ACAD, I just convert everything to white that I want in Word, and...
