I took the test last week. Without even thinking I started the test without review and not even knowing what to expect. Needless to say I failed. But next time I will be better prepared for it and I will pass it. I have been working with SW for 2 years and should have passed but I tried to hurry...
I am starting to do some work at home for my company and would like to know how exactly to get all of my settings and toolbars and design library and just pretty much make it like it is at work. kind of like a solidworks total pack and go. Does anyone know how I can go about this?
I am looking for a place where I can find different car, suv, rescue vehicles, and law enforcement vehicles for presentation purposes. Anybody know where to find these?
That is what I did. I was thinking of something more like a global transparency adjuster valve that would adjust all of the transparent items all at the same time. Befor I thought about doing this I was just putting an extruded cut to the depth I needed to see. I might go back to doing it this way.
I try to use the search before I ask any questions and end up coming back with no results. Am I using the search function wrong, is there a specific way of using it. Frankly I have tried holding my tong every which way I know how. The question I was trying to look up was where can I find a site...
I am using 08. The problem I forgot to mention is the decal overlaps two parts and sw wants to put it on both parts if I select both parts or if I select one part it will not let it over lap both parts.
I am trying to put it on an assembly and am having a heck of a time. I put it on a part then inserted it into the assembly. It might do the trick but I dont think it is the right way to do it.
I am trying to make a decal out of a jpeg. and am not successful at all. Does anyone know where I might find a tutorial on how to, or good instruction?
I was wondering if I was the only one who had this problem. When I put a broken view on a part every time I rebuild it seams to suppress the broken part and make the part full size. Now this is an easy fix, all I have to do is hit the rebuild button again. But when I have more than one sheet I...
I can make it appear by checking the override box. the problem is we are going to have to do this for all old drawings and that is going to take up some time. Yes they are linked and they are not disapearing they just dont come into the drawing when we open the drawings up in SW2008.
ok you are totally confused. I am talking about when you create a new part, you put dims on a sketch, then you extrude, revolve, loft, ect., then when that is finished you go to file then properties and add a description. One example might be for a piece 1/2" plate that is 2'-4" long by 1'-8"...
I have 2007 home liscence, and just got 2008 at work. do i need to go and get the boss to get 2008 home liscences or can each of us take the dvd home and load it.
No and no. There is a tab when you select a dim. that sais other. Whe you select this tab there is a check box next to it that reads Override Units. When you select that check box and go back to the drawing it will have the dash. I am guessing that the default for the dims. is set without the...
