I have a sub assembly that i am trying to replace with another assembly. I use the replace command, the save the assembly with the new sub asm. then reopen the asm and the old sub asm part is still there, not the new one. Anyone seen this before? Cliff

It does not show up in the print preview. Why would you think it was the driver? All the view should not print then, besides i have other drawings with detail views that print. the one in question is a detail taken from a section, they never print.

I have a drawing that contains a detail view. This detail view will not print correctly, while the other views print fine. All that is visible in the view are the dimensions. If i rebuilt the drawing the view re appears, but will not print. Any ideas? Cliff

i am having the same problems with dimensions and lines disappearing within the sketch.

Axes are already turned off in all templates, parts, asm, drw. The problem did not appear until we upgraded to sp2.0.

I already have that set to turn them off. The axes are not always on, they only show up in drawings when i select print, but not every time. In assemblies they show up when i switch from one file to another i have open, but does not happen every time.

I am aware that i can just uncheck them, but problem is why are they on. I do not turn them on and they are not turned on by default in the templates. It also happens in assemblies, makes it kinda slow when a couple of thousand axes turn on for no reason. Cliff

Having similar problems, but not just with drawings with all files. Are you running PDMWorks? Cliff

I have the solids, but i dont have the structural steel profile sketches under menu toolbox - structural steel. There is a glitch that causes that option not to appear until it is reslected. i have the same problem with pdmworks under the "file" menu cliff

Has anyone noticed the "structrual steel" option form the toolbox menu disappear? Everytime i open sw i must deselect and reselct the add ins for the toolbox to have access to the structural steel profiles menu. i am running 2004 5.0, clean install of sw on a new machine, virus scanner...

I am running sw2004 sp4.2, xp pro 1.0 with a fx500 card. i am not running the solidworks approved driver. solidworks runnings slower. The version i am running is more stable (6.14.10.6573), i have reported this to solidworks. Just because the driver is certified by solidworks does not make it...
