Dear Ratty,
Do you want only bonding between the plastic housing and lid or also you want complete sealing/potting of the housing for protecting electronics of the sensor.
Anyway i had come across similar kind of application where the sensor was used in the ships and submirines for temperature...
I want to Bond PP to Brass, but not able to get suitable solution. Everybody knows PP is difficult to bond substrate due to inert nature.
Friends Can you please help me in understanding the chemistry why PP is difficult to bond and what are the best ways of bonding it.
Thanks
Smita
Hi,
I suggest you to contact Henkel Loctite for bonding glass to itself. They have wide range of UV Curing adhesives specially meant for bonding glasses together. They are very much temperature resistance and also ultra clear in color.
Best of Luck
Smita
I have bonded similar kind of substrates successfully with a primer called "770" and Cyno adhesive called "401" . This are products from Henkel Loctite. An engineering adhesive company.
Please help me in understanding how tg effects epoxy performance once cured. I have seen many epoxies with tg of room temperature and below, so how they behave above their Tg.
