Wash Oil Optimum Flow rate Calculation in HYSYS Simulator for Cracked Gas Compressor

Agree this is more of a process technology related question. Typical wash oil injection rates for the compressor will be function of compressor throughput, type of fouling expected based on gas/liquid/mixed feed cracking. There is data available in open literature for typical rates. Note the...

Location of Amine Stripper Feed Control Valve

    Thank you for the response.

Location of Amine Stripper Feed Control Valve

Thanks for your responae. I waa looking at having liquid phase at control valve inlet as it is difficult to control when the flow is two phase at control valve inlet

Location of Amine Stripper Feed Control Valve

This is regarding DGA system to strip out acid gases from Refinery off gases. In all projects we have seen that the Amine Stripper Feed Control valve is located near the Amine Stripper Feed Nozzle at minimum distance from column. The configuration is typical, whereby the rich amine from the...

DIERS applicability for two phase flow

I was of the view that DIERS is applicable when you are not certain about the mass fraction of the phases at the PSV inlet. For a blocked outlet case when you know the mass fraction of the phases at PSV inlet,I am certain that DIERS does not apply

DIERS applicability for two phase flow

Well I was of the view that DIERS analysis only applies when we are concerned about fire scenario....but does it applies to all other relief scenario's as well

DIERS applicability for two phase flow

I intend to say two phase flow at PSV inlet at relieving pressure

DIERS applicability for two phase flow

I wanted to know whether DIERS analysis should be carried out for any scenario involving two phase flow in sub-critical region

DIERS applicability for two phase flow

I am into process engineering and part of my job involves specifying thermophysical data and flows for various safety valves.Currently I am working on a process which contains C1-C4 hydrocarbons.I have this process fluid which is vapor at normal condition but when I flash it adiabatically to a...
