As per NB-3411.1, Pump Seal Housing and Seal glands falls under the jurisdiction of ASME.
Does this means Mechanical Seals have to be ASME qualified . Hence, Mechanical Seals needs to have qualifications as per ASME requirements.
I am totally not clear about application of ASME on Mechanical...

Is Mechanical Seal fall as pressure boundary as per ASME. Or does it's seal faces falls under the pressure boundary limit. I am unable to find explicit answer to this question.

I am having this problem at my job. I have to use M10 brass bolts. The manual asks a tightening torque of 40 Newton Meter.
Is this right torque. I have searched the net for Brass bolt torque chart but not found.
