We have purchased one heater, one junction box, one conduit, all Exd certified, for conduit with suffix "U".
Do we need to recertify the three things as a new product. there is confusion from description in IEC 60079-0:2011, Section 16.3 and Section 28.2
Section 16.3, looks like it is OK...
Ha, Zdas04, yes, you are right, it is ok to release C02 freely. We are working in Shipyard on barg, not a site where plant will stand with permit to exhaust, small amout is OK, large amount exhaust of CO2, local authority will think we start to use pressure vessel or compressor, any other set of...
Farhadsh, quite difficult situation, in crude oil, Sulfur is in many different forms, pure S, H2S, S02 and some other RSH and so on.
But if the lab is certified to issue such number as reference, it is good news.
Keep some space for poor quality crude oil, when you select material, one day...
Is there any data regarding H2S Percentage provided by crude oil vendor? that one will be your basis for design.
The mixture of crude oil, including the H2S percentage, shall be availble before the refinery designed, even if the crude oil goes into the process line is a mixer of serveral...
Yes, water will be the first option for pipe clean, effective and safe. But we have to use air because the pipeline is cryogenic, to avoid difficulty to low the daw point before commissioning.
Thanks everyone for input
Thanks EmmanuelTop for the good document, I will keep on search in API standard, look like there is no such criteria.
Once I found, I will come back here to post it.
it is ITT centifuge pump, with head 44.8m, flow rate 5m3/hr, oil density similar to water.
I also think it is an experience value, coming maybe from experiment. how to prove it to client is a question.
Dear all,
We have a pump for hot oil with Dynamic viscosity 0.55mPa.s in 220C, for cold test run, we will have cold oil with Dynamic viscosity 8.12mPa.s.
Vendor information shows that when Dynamic viscosity is less than 20mPa.s, it will be ok. I wonder where it comes the conclusion of 20mPa.s...
Thanks, with example from surfaceequip website, I believe that, giving Feed gas property, including pressure, temp. Flow rate, percentage of content, experience vendoer procvide solution, including PSV etc.
Maybe manufacturer can do more than that.
Hi, I am working on a HP seperator for LNG feed gas, I wonder what is the input and how to decide the volume and width/longth of HP seperator(vapor and liquid).
Anyone have good answer?
Thanks a lot.
