That's what I noticed, composition is close, I can say that SPCC it's just an option if you cant find 1008, but definitely they are not Equivalents.

Our factory is asking the following: 'the annex "2" implies class 2 or double leads thread'?

Hi Kenat, I just checked that section of ASME spec that you just said, you are right, describes how to identify this type of 'special' threads...but not the range of tolerance of the major diameter.
