UPDATE:
We welded the mounting ring back together and got it back cutting; however, we have to increase the gas pressure and slow down the cutting speed to get a decent cut. We have decided that a dent in one of the inner coupling rings caused high pressure N2 to seep past the head and put...
Our company has a Mitsubishi ML 3020 LXP. While running a sheet of 11ga stainless still, the mounting ring to the head crack with a pop sound that sounded like a shotgun blast. My questions are; how could this have happened when all of the incoming gases to the machine are set to the correct PSI...
I'm working with a new company and we are trying to figure out the true cost in gas and power of our laser. If it helps our laser is a Mitsubishi ML 4020 LXP. I am just wondering if any of you guys have a formula you use or some other way to calculate the cost.
Thanks
In short, it can be done. You are going to want to use N2 assist gas and go negative on the focal point to start off. I'd start with .080 aluminum factory conditions and go from there.
There usually is a "push button" breaker on the cooling tower on the Trumatic 3030 that you could hold down for 30 secs and reset the cooling unit. On the Bosche controlled ones Im not sure if they have them. Also, blowing out the radiators on the chiller might fix the problem.
Hi guys,
My boss has asked me to try to cut a piece of carbon fiber about .125 thick on our Mitsubishi ML3020LXP. I have heard of some people cutting carbon fiber on a laser but I have no idea on where to start on the cutting conditions except for using nitrogen on the cut. Anyone out there have...
We have been using PEP 2014 for our Mitsubishi LXP. I'm still learning it but it seems very intuitive. In times past I have used Lantek and had zero complaints.
