effect of coolig water temperature on temperature of all components in a water jacket cooled motor

many thanks. Could you please eloboarte. I am new to CFD and thermals. I want to study how the density, heat capacity and thermal conductivity of the components and the temperature of the cooling water effects the temperatures of the machine. Please bear with me if i am asking a very basic things.

effect of coolig water temperature on temperature of all components in a water jacket cooled motor

Hi .. I am simulating a water jacket cooled induction motor. I solved the simulation for two cases case 1 : cooling water inlet temperature 30 degree Celsius. I this case the outlet water temperature is 31.4 degree Celsius. and the temperature at the area of...

    Shock mount selection procedure

Exactly , I am designing it. But for designing it i have got few documents , But all of them explains the calculation method by considering the component to be isolated as a rigid mass. In my case the component is is a excitation panel (assume a box with number of sensitive electronic components...

NX NASTRAN 10 IS SOLVING A PROBLEM WITHOUT ANY LOAD ..HOW IT IS POSSIBLE

Hello i am using nx nastran 10.when i solve a linear static solution, with out any load , it is getting solved and giving zero displacement results which is correct with a zero load. But when i use nx 9 ,when there is no load in the linear static solution .when u click on solve,it will give a...

nastran units for linear static runs (SOL101)

What i believe and follow is consistency means if your model is in mm use mm, kg(or tonn) ,and newton(or milli newto or kilo newton) as units. if the model is in inches use inches , lbf. correct me if i am wrong .

HELLO 1.WHAT IS THE PURPOSE SURF

HELLO 1.WHAT IS THE PURPOSE SURFACE TO SURFACE CONTACT SIMULATION OBJECT IS AVAILABLE IN 101 (LINEAR STATIC)SOLUTION AS CONTACTS MAKE THE SOLUTION NONLINEAR. 2.WHY PLSOLID IS AVAILABLE IN PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF 101 SOLUTION AS PLSOLID IS USED FOR HYPER ELASTIC MATERIALS(NONLINEAR MATERIALS)...

Helo every one i have a sheet me

sorry , By mistake i have exported a wrong .dat file. Suppose if there are no constraints the model should not start solving , the model setup check will give an error saying , there are n constraints in the model. in my case i have given proper boundary conditions (fixed on one end ). Still it...

Helo every one i have a sheet me

actuyally the model is of varying thickness one. there is a [roblem with pivot ratios . here i am attaching my .f06 file .and .dat file i have checked the connectivity . every thing is ok. But I cant figure ou what the problem is...

Helo every one i have a sheet me

Helo every one i have a sheet metal plate meshed with shell elements. When i solve with proper boundaty conditions , its getting solved and giving all the displacements and rotations zero. can any one please tell what the problem is exactly.

    shell element thickness output

Hello i got the output, shell element thickness output is only available for large strain model. So we have to check large strain in the parameters section of the solution box.

    Problem with contact, sol101

Hello I am not sure, but Check whether you specified the modeling object for Advanced nonlinear(BCTPARAM) in the surface to surface contact dialogue box and check whether you have created the global contact parameters in the solution dialogue box.
