It´s logical to me using B36.19 latest edition, also with others ASME standards that are not in U-3, even whe the code doesn't stablish an specific edition. I'm not sure...

I'm trying to make comparisons with Sec VIII div 1 2015 and Sec VIII div 1 2007 add 09. I want to know the difference con UG-34 (g) between both editions but I don't have the 2007, add09.

yes, UG-34 (d)(6) says that is attached by groove as shown on the figure but I still don't understand how is that groove. It doesn't seen a regular groove the land seems too big that is not possible to deposit to fill the weld. If you can help me to understand I really would appreciate that hehe

On your QC manual shall be the minimum information you should have on your drawings. If you don't acomplish any aspect of your QC manual the A.I. can create a no conformity and he can't stamp until you fix it. Ask to your A.I. what does he recommend.
