    Thanks Ben. I agree whith your point, U-3 is about referenced standards an not necesarily the only acceptable standards. It´s logical to me using B36.19 latest edition, also with others ASME standards that are not in U-3, even whe the code doesn't stablish an specific edition. I'm not sure...

    yes, UG-34 (d)(6) says that is attached by groove as shown on the figure but I still don't understand how is that groove. It doesn't seen a regular groove the land seems too big that is not possible to deposit to fill the weld. If you can help me to understand I really would appreciate that hehe

    ASME VIII, Div 2 Drawings

    On your QC manual shall be the minimum information you should have on your drawings. If you don't acomplish any aspect of your QC manual the A.I. can create a no conformity and he can't stamp until you fix it. Ask to your A.I. what does he recommend.
