That did it Cowski! Color pallets were different, changed the assy's CDF to the part's CDF and everything's groovy. Thanks!

Yeah I checked that already. While in the assy file it's just a grayed out box.

Basically, most of the components got switched somehow to being all white... Is there a way to revert the colors back to what they are when you make them the displayed part? I am using NX 1919, by the way.

Using NX12. No these aren't old model files, couple years, 4 years tops. I've worked with much older data though and never had these issues at my precious company. Also, my coworkers aren't having these issues, and that's why I believe it to be a setting issue. But which one, I have no idea.
