So anytime I rotate whether using my spaceball or MB2, everything gets really funky. On top of that, all my circles look like stop signs, squares, and triangle. UNLESS i make that screw or whatever my work part, then everything smooths out. I've changed my faceting to everything from coarse to ultra fine and nothing changes. Refresh, regenerate work view, nothing. Attached is a picture of what happens when rotating. I checked my computers graphics card, its an NVIDIA Quadro P5000. My coworkers, who do not have these issues, are running an NVIDIA Quadro M5000. I've got the superior graphics card, so I'm assuming this is something in settings. My last jobs computer never had this issue so I'm a little lost.

What version of NX are you on ?
Is this an old model file ?
It could pertain to lightweight reference sets

Using NX12. No these aren't old model files, couple years, 4 years tops. I've worked with much older data though and never had these issues at my precious company. Also, my coworkers aren't having these issues, and that's why I believe it to be a setting issue. But which one, I have no idea.

Right click on a component in the assembly navigator and look for an option "display exact" (or something to that effect). If that option shows up, your component is currently showing in "lightweight" mode. It might be time to regenerate the lightweight display set (I think there is a utility that ships with NX that can do this).

Hitting show exact on a comportment worked, but only selecting one component at a time and doing this obviously isn't ideal. I'm not able to find a regenerate lightweight display option, would you be able to elaborate more?

edit: I can window everything and hit show exact. I was trying to do it through the tree, highlighting everything, and it was not working. I'm going to dig around in the customer defaults and try and find a setting for this. Thanks for the help!

They redid the way lightweight bodies are calculated/stored around NX11 or 12. Even if your parts are only a few years old, they might need to be refreshed.

Check your assembly load options, there is an option there to use lightweight representations. Also in the customer defaults, look at assemblies -> site standards -> lightweight representations. If your assemblies are not large and complicated, you might be able to fully load your parts and not use the lightweight stuff at all. If loading your parts fully bogs the system down too much, tweak the lightweight settings to get a combination of visual accuracy and speed that you can live with. You can find some other graphical settings at menu -> preferences -> visualization performance.
