Should i define the conductivity with the tie contact? If it's the case wich one must be used (of plastic or of steel)?
And how can i define the initial temperature, using a BC or initial condition or it's not necessary to define it?

I still not able to run this analysis with displacement BC instead of force!
Ramp amplitude is not supported by abaqus explicit
Please who can provide me with an exemple of a working inp for explicit analysis using an imposed displacement BC.

Please for the previous Explicit dynamic analysis,i tried to apply a (BC) displacement of 28mm instead of the (cload) force. The part doesn't move until the end of the step!
Can we use a displacement BC in explicit dynamic analysis?

that's exactly, what I did, but I think I didn't choose the right contact here I used a surf to surf general contact so i think when the sheet bends the contact acts to pull the punch with the sheet metal
Should i use an edge to edge contact or do you suggest...
