Hi!
Now there is old elsa 32mb card, what really sucks. I tried Gf3 ti200 128mb, and it was very fast in 3D, and also 40% faster in 2D than elsa.
But now i found "PNY QUADRO 4 NVS 50...64MB" video-cad-card wich costs only 100e!
Have anyone tried this model?
Didn't found that one from autesk's...
Again troubles with those iproperty fields. We have used the Authority field in our parts and assys and now it should be seeing in part list of assembly. Only problem is that it's not in the column chooser list. Same problem in the design assistant, half of the fields are missing. This is in...
You should get some inventor professional to get you going with stuff (you have to decide how to fill ipt fields and so on and so on. No inventor course can prepare you that!
I was thinking Acer Aspire
Intel Pentium 4
512MB DDR 333-muistia
17"TFT - SXGA 1280X1024, nVidia Geforce FX Go5700 64MB
Specs seems better than M60, and price is just good, 1500 € (e)
Battery lasts only 1,5hour, but that's not broblem, only unsure thing is that FX go5700 seems superfast&good...
Hi!
I was wondering that what brand/model of laptop would be best option for mainly inventor usage?
It's not for huge assys, but it would be good to use reasonable display Hz (75 or 85 Hz) and atleast middleway details.
I'm little confused, cause I think that best laptop-videocards are...
I saw some diagram about opening process of inventor. It seemed that inventor looks files from workspace before workgroup. Then I noticed that we use workgroup instead of workspace..is that wrong?
All invertor models etc. are in server and the path is same for every computer ( k:\blabla)
Only...
1. What's currently the best PC brand and model for inventor?
Dell,HP,compaq??
Now we have fast clone PC, but it seems to be slow anyway..
2. Is Pentium or AMD XP better for inventor?
3. How bout self build PC? It's easy to build fast&cheap game pc, but fast&cheap cad-pc, whooo...
Is there any way to insert .iam/.ipt to assembly so that you don't need to browse the folders, only to write the part number, like 123-21111.iam (same as filename) to somewhere and invertor would search it from other project's folders?
Maybe some plugin or settings definition??
I would like to know what are the options to be able to insert subassemblys and parts (.iam & .ipt) from different projets(also in different folder) to another project's assembly?
example:
h:\design\projects\projetct323333 (assys from here
h:\design\projects\projetct444333 to here)...
Thanks!
I don't understand why the dimension doesn't always show, after pressin the "lenght arc" option. It worked in a new part, but not in old, maybe it's coz of the old part was created with Inv5
Problem solved, thanks!
How do I get the lenght-dimension of arc in inventor 6 drawing(Sheet, not in 3D sketch) -mode from some object including arc / circle / half circle?
What tool and how should I click to get it?
Sliazmei, Sorry, still can't understand where to write those commands?
I tried to write those to File->drawing properties-->Custom
but can't see any path anywhere.
I'm so not familiar with autocad
Can't find utilities-revisions-daystamp
Either can't find rtext or diesel, where shoul i write that "File Path:$(getvar, "dwgprefix")$(getvar, "dwgname")" ?
Is there possibility to add path & filename to drawing as a text so that when printing the drawing, it's possible to see where it's located in pc? similiar as when u print a web page, at the bottom ther is url and date..
found dwgprefix, but didn't get it to show the path when writed with tex...
As weird it might sound, but I noticed that the pc's PS was making high-tone noise every time cpu was 100% When I changed the Power, loading time reduced from 3:40 (min:sec) to 2:20 or something. Also when I copied the assembly to local HD it reduced the time about 30 sec. Maybe we should buy...
We are doing layout from 3 of our machines. These machines has about 200 parts each (100 unique) We have made wax models from those machines( converted to single .ipt and broke the link)
Now the 3D world is fast enough, no slowing or anything, but when making drawing, uhhh!
Making anything with...
