Thanks for your comment but I have already done that. I expect higher torque due to the boundary layer. I guess this cannot be calculated like a normal surface in free flow.

Can somebody please describe which standard parts are included in the library now included in NX5? I mean bolts, nuts, etc.. (DIN,ISO,...). Somebody told me it is not very usefull and you still need an external library (like BCT).

Is estrange, since Solidworks has very user friendly feature to be used in 2D drawings, not so complicated as Nx PMI. The tolerances feature for 2D drawings in NX is too simple and doesn't include ISO symbol nor automated calculation of tolerance(PMI does it).

The CFD we are using is taylored for propeller and cavitaiton analysis so is very fast and give the data in very useful formats, a CFD code like the one yu mention might be usefull for long term research instead or for analysing a particular case.
