10 machines - all identical hardware, drivers, install images, etc. Only one machine would crash at random upon save. Changed setting on Application Options - Display tab from "Use Direct3D 10 Graphics Hardware" to "Use Direct3D Graphics Hardware". No more crash issues. And it's working so I...
You or you Chrysler contact call the Chrysler Help Desk and open a support ticket. I don't have the number handy right now as I am at home. The process they have outlined doesn't work - so put the leg work back on them.
Also in the "SII Admin Database", there is a more recent document (2009)...
Barb worked in the Supplier Integration Group. The whole "detailed" process is outlined in the siiAdmin Document Database on Chrysler Portal within Covisint.
Do you have a Covisint id? If not, you'll need one of those first.
Below are the steps in general.
1. Sponsor creates application from...
I use (2) 20" hooked to my Dell m6500. Then I have 2 more 20" hooked to my Teamcenter and Unix boxes with a single keyboard and mouse. Those are mostly used for PDM and remote desktop work.(4) 20" LCD monitors in my cube. People think I am insane - until they sit down behind them.
They are...
Thanks Ferdo! Just what i needed. It's more of less for for when measuring and checking items rather then inputing sizes when designing. If I could set dual unit's when measuring - that would be useful also.
I've tried but cannot figure out. Is there a way to create a macro or something to make an icon that I can toggle back and forth between inches and millimeters?
Appreciate the help!
That did the trick. Created an autocad file with all the same layers as in the inventor file and then links the dwg/dxf out config file to it.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Yeah I have seen that option to do that. I'll have to see if I can get an Inventor drawing to export with all the possible layers to I can set what I want in Autocad.
Hello,
Need some help figuring out. I like all my drawings the way they are in Inventor 2010, but I need to export as Autocad 2007 for vendors and suppliers. All my drawings transfer with separate layers, but everything is white and a constant linetype. Right now I manually go into autocad and...
Sorry, I am using Inventor 2010 SP1. There are no special excel spreadsheets or bmp links or anything fancy. My IAM is really just a simple frame made of tubing and plates. The drawing has (1) base view, (1) ISO view and (2) projected views with some ballooning and dimensions.
I have a strange situation. When I do a save as on my 32-bit system, from IDW to DWG it crashes. However, when I do it on my 64-bit systems, it works. The IDW file size is only 7MB. Any ideas? BTW, I have tried this on 32-bit systems with and without the /3GB switch varible set, both crash...
Maybe there is already a tool to do this, but I'd like to run a script of some sort that will give me a text file that lists the desired attributes of a directory of PRT files.
Basically we are given a directory of a few hundred parts, that have no description in the filename. I'd rather not...
I need some help getting started. In simple terms, I want a script that will tell me how many jelly beans I can fit into different standard size jars.
Here is Jelly Bean-A. How many can I fit into Jar-A or how many can I fit info Jar-B, etc.
OK. So I have my sequence running two different simulations. . But, new problem. Each of the 2 mechanisms, have commands that are limited from 0-750in. When I create the simulation, again both run from 0-750in. However, when I run my sequence, both moving parts that start at the same point...
