I have a regenerative type hydraulic system. It does not quite have enough power on the extension cycle, the retraction cycle is fine. Does anyone know how I can get more power on the extension cycle, or will I have to replace the cylinders with a larger diameter rod? Thanks, Ray D

The easiest way for my application to stop a hydraulic cylinder at the right distance ( in one direction) is to adjust the cylinder so it bottoms out. But something in the back of my mind says I should not do this. Any thoughts on this? Ray D

budt, thanks for the response, I thought about 2 cylinders in series after Bud's response, but having the difference in volume from going from shaft end to the blind end of the other cylinder was about 10% less oil in the second cylinder and would have made a difference of 1.5" of travel...

I have a spline with three grips in the shape of a curve. When I use offset I get a line that is completely full of grips. Can I get rid of all but three of the grips, so it is like the original, fit is not an option? Thanks, Ray2
