I do the same as Denial, with the addition of setting up a print area, header/footer and specifying a default black and white print in the page setup dialog ahead of time. I then typically set the file attributes to Read-Only so that the master copy does not get mutilated by accident.
I would probably 'alt'-'Print Screen' the window into the clipboard, paste it into Windows Paint, then rectangle around the portion of the map that I want and copy it into a new Paint file. I'd then save it as a jpeg image and insert that into the ACAD file.
There may be better ways to do it.
