    infrared conducting epoxy

Does anyone know where to obtain transparent infrared conducting epoxy/substrates to "paint" on materials?

    materials

My goal is to have a dual plane grid of IR conductors spaced 1mm apart, that you can essentially see through. I want to scan both glass edges (x glass and y glass) and calculate via signal processing the cartesian coordinates of an infrared beam striking the glass. I don't have aproblem with the...

Is anyone familiar with how to produce virtually transparent laticework of infrared conducting material on a 14" by 14" glass sheet for example? Are there clear infrared epoxies available?

LT1264 and charge pump IC as supply

I was using a transformer based -5 supply to the LT1264 Bandpass filter without a problem until I tried using Microchip TC962 negative charge pump for the same negative supply instead of the transformer. The TC962 has 80ma output LT1264=23ma, max. Any conceptual blunders in trying this approach?

    ultrasonic transmitter cable

Its a single 40KHz wave repeated every 10ms.

    ultrasonic transmitter cable

Current source to transducer is only 0.4a. Transducer can't draw more than what's available. Sounds like I am making an ultrasonic weapon more than a transmitter by your concern. I will ponder your concerns. Thanks for both replies. GoKid!

    ultrasonic transmitter cable

Hi folks, I want to send 150v 0.4amp to a remote ultrasonic transducer that has 200 ohm impedance. The NPN driving ciruitry will be about 3-4' from the transducer housing. Digital circuitry will be nearby. What specific brand name/type cable would one recommend - it may bump or rub up against...

    seperating sensor from circuitry

Ok, thats a start, thanks. Do I also need any line drivers/amps to reduce signal attentuation to the receiver circuitry from the receiver transducer? Even without a line in between the signal is in the millivolt to microvolt region. GoKid!

    seperating sensor from circuitry

Hi folks, I want to drive ultrasonic transducers at 40KHz 3-4 feet away from the transducer drive circuitry itself- is this possible with twisted pair wires? Like-wise I would like to seperate the transducer receivers from their reciver circuitry by about 3 feet and keep the several receiver...

can turn on 1 FET but not another

I am driving a transducer with a 200ohm load resistor connected to the push-pull output. Are you suggesting that getting a converter with a higher output amperage may solve the problem? That would make sense as other lower voltage higher amp sources have worked while this one doesn't.

can turn on 1 FET but not another

I corrected my drawing per Zeitghosts comment, it wasn't actually connected that way. Benta I will look into those dedicated drivers to strengthen my design. Replacing the P channel 9630 with an IRF9640 and the circuit above began working (bad FET?). I used a 9v battery test source for the...

can turn on 1 FET but not another

I've posted the schematic here. Please tell me whether this would change the response(s). Thank you for the replies. http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/292/292938/folders/243015/1909634Push-PullDriver.JPG

can turn on 1 FET but not another

I haven't because I am trying to switch Vdd at 40Khz, e.g. 40KHz square wave driver for transducer. I don't know what to do - I have increased both current and voltage and I my returns aren't much.

can turn on 1 FET but not another

I have two FETs I am trying to turn on - IR620 and IR 3215, both N-channel FETs. VDD = 9v, gate signal is 40KHz +5V. The International Rectifier IR3415 N-channel was turned on with a TC428 FET driver no problem outputting a nice sqaure wave. It was also turned on with 6 parallel 74A0C...

EMCO HV converter not being switched

On o-scope the push-pull network output (pre transducer load) is the exact same 40KHz burst as the 5Vpp microprocessor signal used to drive the push-pull network except it is 0.6vpp . It instead should be 140 Vpp.

EMCO HV converter not being switched

HI folks, Because of space requirements I changed out an existing PSU supplying an FET push-pull driver for a transducer to a Q-Series EMCO HV DC converter (Q05-5). The component is operating correctly but the push-pull network doesn't seem to be switching. My push-pull netowrk uses Int'l Rect...
