Can somebody help me?
this is my problem, I'm modelling a three phase transformer and getting the L(inductance) matrix.
I know than
L=Ll+Lm
where Ll= leakage inductance and
Lm= inductance of magnetization
I also know that Lm1=(n1/n2)*L12, and Lm2=(n2/n1)*L12
where L12= mutual inductance...
Hi Jorand
first you have to coupling nodes in some area that you want then you have to choose a node (inside) and apply the voltage, obviouly, in order to have a voltage in the block in other area of this block you have to apply a 0 voltage
I hope you can undestand my bad english

Hi michael
I don't understand this part in your question "I try to simulate an iron region which is magnetised by a solid massive conductor (SOLID117 Keyopt(1)=5)"
What are you trying to do with this?
other thing, how your current source for the conductor is?
as you know the error...
Hi Javier
The glue operation redefines the input volumes so that they share areas along their common boundaries. The new volumes encompass the same geometry as the original volumes
Adds Volumes =Adds separate volumes to create a single volume. The original volumes (and their corresponding...
Hello
I'm modeling a Three Phase Transformer in 3D using ansys and I have a problem I want to get the Leakage Inductance, but I don't know how to do it, I'm using the LMATRIX to get the L matrix and Etype=SOLID117
I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and help.

Hi
cbrn, I have to admit that you are correct, I just can say from your exaples, as you said, "It's the user which must ensure he inputs the values in a consistent system"

ANSYS uses for defect the MKS system (always), therefore, your 10 will become 10 meters,
For example in electromagnetics (my area)if you want to change this system use:
Preprocessor>MAterial Props>Electromag Units
