Why not using a Synchronous Machine as a Dynamometer?

I think sync motors were made for 400Hz systems, as well as 60Hz, so you might be able to find one with a higher speed rating. My recollection is 400Hz is used in aircraft to make things smaller.

    230-34.5kv 150 MVA with On-Tank OLTC

It is a higher cost, but must be handled in the same way. What do you expect to see to offset the higher cost? That's as far as I have gone.

I don't know, as some of your temps appear to be in Kelvin.

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

Since when have politicians, or sales brokers been ethical or professional? Part of the break down of society.

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

And what of fixed value insurance? At least that way the insurance company knows the maximum payout. Like life insurance, the payout is a fixed value. The home owner has some risk with this, but not a total risk.

    Pad-Mount V.S. Power Transformers

Larger pad mount transformers may not have internal fuses. May be that pad mount transformers, in many cases are considered expendable because of there smaller size.

    Powerflow analysis tool - Australia

Why would it be different from any other country? Except language. Try asking the nearing utilities what they use, because on a transmission level you will want to trade files with them.

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

Life insurance seems to be a money maker, so why is flood insurance not? I noticed that life and disability insurance are being bundled together. Maybe if Flood and home owners were offered as a bundle people might buy it.

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

Basic insurance? If you are referring to flood insurance, it is not basic, it is additional, and FEMA maps seem to set the basis on if you can purchase it. Same with volcano insurance. I feel that anyone who believes they have a risk should be able to purchase it. But if the maps show a low...

    MV Transformer Protection

The fuse does protect a transformer from a low side fault, but not for over load. The current limiting fuse protects incase of a large fault within the transformer case (keeps the case from rupturing). The main thing a fuse does is to remove a transformer from a loop, so the remainder of the...

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

I would expect a larger heat island to evaporate more water vapor into the air, to create a higher local humidity. Thus more local rain. But I would think some of that would dissipate with higher winds. Maybe start a conspiracy theory that China has been cloud seeding with hot air balloons.

Power lines can be underground, or overhead on peers. I have seen many of them like that. Roads and parking areas can be blocked off, like special event parking, or secondary roads (named floodway).

    FEMA's Outdated Flood Zone Maps

Flood zone, or flood insurance only covers the structure/mortgage holder. It is not a very good plan/system for the home owner. It is the people who get hosed in these events. But there is such a great need for homes, because of the number of people, that it is herd to leave that much land...

    Circuit anomaly

I would suspect the connections between the sections of track. My recollections of cars like this, it only takes one of the connection pins of the track(there should be two per car), just bend the pin a little so it makes good connection with the next section of track. I have similar issues...
