We have no problem with Powerpoint, runs like a charm via remote management. But as Mike pointed out, 3D CAD use requires computing power. I'll test it between two workstations. I think the solution will be installing a decent 3D card to the machine from witch I try to manage the CAD workstation.

Does anyone have experience with the use of VNC or similar remote management software for accessing 3D CAD workstations? My problem is that the client machine (the manager) has an integrated video card, and the host machine (3D workstation) has a Quadro card. The 3D models' rotation is so slow...

I analyse a machine frame in Cosmos. Smaller parts are welded onto the main frame in the frame assy. I'd like to analyse the main beam as a part. The forces are transfered through welds, and if I open the main beam as a standalone part, the areas where the forces work are obviously not visible...

The thread is over hole wizard size. I'd rather try to fix the drawing itself, keeping the models intact. I tried to modify the drawing view, but the hatch seems to be unified, no possibility to erase just a part of it.

In section view the threaded sections overlap between a hole and a shaft. I have made the edges hidden (the internal edge of the hole, displayed „inside” the shaft), but the two hatches are still overlapping. How to display the threaded section properly? Any workarounds? Let me know, if I’m not...
