FYI, right now I'm using the same practise mentioned by Gildashard. Use "Find Reference" for assembly & part first then copy manually the drawings into the same folder. After this, relink back the drawings one by one.
Hi all,
I would like to copy the whole assembly within part & drawings to a new folder. Each assembly, sub-assembly & part got its own drawing.
I've tried to open an assembly drawing and use "Find Reference" but it's not worked for others parts' drawing & sub-assemblies' drawing. Guys, any...

Hi loeb,
May be you can try on the tolerance setting before you import the IGES. After import IGES into SolidWorks, try to check the gap & fix it using Diagnosis. (RMB one of the surface)
Another suggestion is open IGES w/ MasterCAM. It's great!

revman,
Boolean Operation only availble in SW2003.
You can import the scanned IGES into part file through Imported Surface. It can be found in the Surface toolbar.
It's better to get the latest version of SWX!!

loeb,
I agree w/ MadMango that Parasolid is the best option to choose. As I know HP SolidDesigner can export Parasolid and IGES format.
What we afaid is your customer files (assembly) is a multiple body files when import into SW2001+ which is not supported.
