i have recently had dealings with valve italia, they will be able to supply a flanged valve for this application
is the valve fitted with a martyr valve as a bypass if not i recommend doing so, or changing the valve type
Can you please explain the process a little further for us to fully understand the problem, perhaps there are better methods to resolve the problem, also some info on the valve itself and the seat material would help
hi i am setting up a maintenace regime for a HRSG can anybody assist by telling me the time between stripdowns required of pilot operated safety valves?
do they need functional testing yearly
can they be trevitested
The Hrsg is still in construction, it is a vertially tubed triple pressure Hrsg with the Deairator built directly on top of the LP drum, replication will be carried out. i will look at high velocity elbows
the question was more asking a percentage of elbows to be checked ect..
I have been tasked to set up a scope for a baseline inspection of a HRSG. The units are still in construction and i would like to capture a baseline set of inspections to minitor going forward. Can anyone recommend the type and amount of inspections required
Regards Dave
you may be cheaper to replace the valves rather than having bespoke linings manufactered
try ksb for this, they are generally good and will drill AWWA flanges
i have had mogas valves, with metal to metal seats on plant for a number of years causing little problems, this is on a superheated steam system. Assuming that water/steam is the medium i think metal is a cost affective and low maintenance way.
not sure on the exact application of the pump if it is semi-solid then a mono pump may be a solulion, or a centrifugal sump pump designed for such a system
Hi All
I have been asked to look at changing some fasteners in our gas reception facility on a CCGT, the pressures range from 60bar to 30 bar in a fairly corrosive athmosphere as its close to some cooling towers. Can anyone point me in the direction of a standard to work to for the...
there are companies which can simulate the pressure losses in such system, depending on whether the discharges are inline or come from a header/manifold will affect the pressure loss
