yes, and this particular table is a total of 450 rows, split up between 7 tables. One table is 69 rows, the other is 10, etc etc. It is a point to point wiring table. Is there any good way to get this information in to solidworks from excel without manually typing it?
it does the same thing. I also do have the excel open in the background. I'm working between programs. I've had this issue in the past before, it only wants to display a certain size table for some reason
I am trying to insert an excel chart and am having issues. This particular sheet is 6 columns by 69 rows; however, only about 55 rows show up. When I go to 'insert > object > excel chart' I am able to paste my entire table in. When I expand the table to try and show the remaining rows, it is...
I've been having quite a few issues lately with solidworks crashing or just generally being slow. I'm fairly certain its the PC on but I'd like some other opinions.
the assemblies I'm working on are usually less than 30mb, they do how ever contain a lot of small parts, probably around 150-200...
I'll try to give a brief example of my assembly to help:
1. top level
a. sub assembly one
b. sub assembly two
c. sub assembly three
ALL of these assemblies share at least one part used in different quantities. What I am looking for is one BOM that will only call out the parts (much...
Is there any way in solidworks to take the BOMs from several different sub-assemblies, including the top level assembly, and consolidate them? Some of these sub-assemblies contain the same part numbers, so I am trying to create one BOM with all necessary quantities to build said sub-assemblies...
I went ahead and did a selective load and unchecked the assembly I thought was causing the issues. once I did that it opened fine, I was then able to unhide the assembly and open the drawing fine. I still have no idea what was causing the issue. oh well, everything works now.
I have this assembly file, roughly 4mb and a drawing for it roughly 11mb. I had the assembly open this morning and made some changes to it and saved it. Now when I try to open the drawing OR the assembly solidworks crashes. It seems like during loading its getting to certain part files and then...
I'm assuming this is some document property, if I use another drawing format they dont show up. these do NOT show up in the assembly or the individual part files. can anyone help me out in hiding all of these?
