Hi John,
That is dimension only and i am using NX8.5. The part was migrated to NX6.0, so the symbol in 'figure1' is coming from NX6.0 and the symbol in 'figure2' is placed using NX8.5. Also, i checked in the Radial Tab and both the dimensions are using same option.

Thanks for your timely reply. But in the example i showed i am seeing ideas_simplex font for both the dimensions. But, still there is a descripancy between the way how diameter symbol Ø looks like. Is there any other setting governing this behaviour.
