2d bent beam analysis

is there a beam analysis software i can use to calculate bending and shear diagrams on a 2-d bent beam?

Most any of them. RISA, Visual Analysis, IdeaStatica Member, etc. If you're talking a beam bent on a radius, I don't know that any of them handle it explicitly. You generally have to model it as a series of straight beams with fixed ends. How many segments depends on how accurate you want it to be.

there are a couple of continuous beam programs, one by Yakov Polyakov and the other by Alex T. that deal with this.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?
