Dear Friends,

As per ASTM A276, Could anyone advise what is the minimum Stress ratio for 316/L Cold Drawn Round Bars having tensile - 761 N/mm2 and yield 571 N/mm2.

Does ASTM A276 provide any tolerance in value for the Minimum Stress Ratio ?

Best Regards

Does ASTM A276 talk about stress ratio?
Why is it a consideration for your design?

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts."

What is the condition/size/spec min properties that you are buying?
The values that you list are not in the spec.
As long as you meet the min elongation and RA the UTS and yield can be as high as you like.
We have customers for cold drawn bar that set ranges for the properties and the ratio, but they buy mill direct quantities.
