A 358 pipe by SAW process

I have to mfg a A 358 TP 316L CL1 welded pipe using SAW process. can anybody suggest a associated Flux & wire for SAW welding. solution anneling will be done on pipe at 1100 deg C.also ferrite Number is to be found out for weld metal.
pipe should pass impact at -196 deg C.
Size of pipe is 24"x 16 mm thick.

Based on your post, you will need to do the following;

1. Qualify a welding procedure using this welding process and following the requirements in ASME B&PV Code, Section IX for P-No 8 base material.

2. Welder will also need to be qualified, per Section IX.

2. Review ASME B&PV Code, Section II, Part C, AWS SFA filler metal specification for the SAW process. There is plenty of information to choose from to select an appropiate filler wire and flux combination. Also, check with your current filler metal supplier for additional information.
 
Recommend ST-100, or equivalent chromium fortified flux, to negate loss of Chrome through the arc.
