Does anybody know if it is possible to create a balloon without the circular balloon shown ?
I realize I can use a note, but I would like the leader without a stub and towards the center of the number.
This is for a patent drawing, so numbering associativity is not an issue.

I think that a note with a stub length of zero and the vertical alignment set to middle is the closest you'll get.

Or you can use the circular balloons, export an image, and photoshop out the circles. If you only have a handful of balloons, this might be worth the time.

I think there is an enhancement in the new NX 2212, you can now have a balloon without a circle or any other annotation around it.

Thank you both for the replies. I hope I can move up top NX 2212 soon,
