Abaqus CAE, Stringers beam orientation in a circle

Hi everyone,

I am an engineering student and for my last year I have an assesment on Abaqus, I must create an airplane fuselage as it's displayed on Capture1.
After I assigned the section to the stringers, I must create beam orientation, but all orientation are as it's displayed on Capture2. I want the n2 vector of each stringer be directed to the center of the skin circle. There is someone who knows how can I make that ?

You can use the Assign Beam Orientation tool in order to change the orientation. Specify different n1 direction to do this.

Yes I know that you can put manually value, I don't want to reverse the direction, I want the n2 vector normal to the plan plan where each stringer is created. Is there no function to do this automatically ?

On this image, we can see that the stringers are correctly oriented, I want to do something similar.

I see now, you want to adjust the orientation of each stringer so that its normal points towards the center of the cylinder. Unfortunately, there’s no such built-in option but Python scripting could help. However, it might be easier to model the stringers with shell elements in this case.

Your question is not clear.

How it can be automatically done unless you are using only one beam for all stringers in assembly. You have to do labor if you have modelled in part level which can be seen in previous post.
