ABAQUS IS NOT RUNNING THE MODEL

Hello esteemed ABAQUS Users,
If any one can help me. I am trying to model foundation-soil interaction in a 3D model with ABAQUS. I modeled them as two parts. However, while meshing, I see that there is no compatibility between the foundation part mesh and the soil mesh as shown in the photo.
Is there any specific technique for meshing here to maintain a compatibility!
Thanks in advance

Instead of two separate parts, you can partition it. Then the mesh will be continuous. Otherwise, you would have to merge the parts or use tie constraints.

I am grateful for your prompt response
I am a new user of Abaqus. So, could you please illustrate more how can use partitions to solve this issue. Because I am already using it but I think with the wrong way.

Is that a surface (shell) model or volume (solid) one ? There are several different partitioning techniques available for various cases.
