Abaqus Tree not fully showing

I create a new model and i only see the step subtree instead of the full subtree on other models. This is frustrating as can't quickly change workflow. I know I can use the top bar to get to the correct workbench. Is there any way to solve this issue?

Try clicking the "Set Root to Model Database" button on top of the model tree.

Tried that and still the same problem

When you click that button it should show "Model Database" instead of "Models" in the drop-down list. You should also be able to switch from there.

DId you try restarting Abaqus ?

Also has the same problem, unfortunately, I have tried restarting and opening up old case files and all have the same behaviour. Tried turning off the computer and retrying if is was some settings but to no luck.

Which version of Abaqus do you use ? Is that a student or academic release ?

ABAQUS 2018 and its an academic release

 

[FEA way]

If you can install the newest fix pack for this release or switch to more recent one then there’s a good chance this issue will be fixed. It’s better to keep Abaqus updated anyway.
