Please note I am trying to calculate the ALLOWABLE STRESS for A216-Gr.WCB using B31.3 equation 31 OR according to asme bpvc 2019 sec 2 part d (mandatory app.1 page 1034) but I cannot locate the curve or table that defines Ry (ratio of the average temperature dependent trend curve value of yield strength to yield strength at room temperature) for this material (or any material for that matter). Can anyone clarify where the value for Ry can be found?

You can find the yield strength at elevated temperature in ASME II-D Table Y-1.

yes I can find yield strength an y-1 table but I can't find Ry that is is a ratio related to temp. dependent variable.

ASME Section II Part D Table 1A lists the allowable stress for SA-216 WCB. There is no need for you to calculate it yourself.

B31.3 does the same but applies others factors or margins.
