Hi all. Is there a correlation between turns and output voltage at a particular frequency in alternators, or does it also depend on flux density through the coils ?
TIA.

All of the above. Faraday's Law states that the induced voltage out of an alternator is proportional to the number of turns and the rate of change of flux, which is of course dependent on the flux density and the frequency at which the turns move relative to the flux.
