Hello,
I'm working on an aluminum structure using 0.25" thickness
aluminum parts that supposed to be attached by using 1/2"
self tapping screws.
I know that there is a problem with steel&aluminum contact.
Can anyone please advise me what kind of material/alloy should I use for the screws and eventualy a supplier?
I also need some details about the capacity of the
screws in aluminum for this thickness.
I appreciate any help.
Thank you

Check with ITW, Fastenal, Hilti , etc...

These guys make ALL kinds of fasteners..

Use stainless steel fasteners and you will avoid most corrosion issues. Type F bolt is self tapping
