I have to design a basement wall. It will take lateral earth pressure. Also ambulances will be adding surcharge load. What should be the load of ambulances taken in consideration

Add two feet of surcharge to your lateral soil load (e.g. for an 8 ft. wall use 2 ft. of soil pressure at the top ramping up to 10 ft. at the base) and vehicle loads should be covered.

For any parking adjacent a retaining/basement wall, I've always placed a surcharge equal to the equivalent parking garage load for the type of vehicle.

Depending on the size of the ambulances, you could either use passenger car (40psf) or go to the truck/buses section (50psf+).
