amplitude adjustment

I am doing a contact analysis. I have a beam with a fixed bottom and I give it a uniform diplacement on top. I apply the disp. as a ramp over the step and it works fine. I apply an amplitude to the displacemnt to perform a stress relaxation analysis, however, when I run the program with the amp. to define the application of the displacement I get an error. I have tried to change the time increment but it still doesn't work.

What error message does it say in the msg file?

It was a time increment error. But I added another step that keep the displacement constant after the loading step. Thank you for your time
